Hi everyone! First i want to thank all my supporters. You are all friends of mine and i'm truly happy to have your help on this project. Many people know about this dream i have, but few of them realize how hard i have to work to reach for my goals. And all of you understand that this is very important to me. So thanks, from the bottom of my heart.
Nw i'm almost on the deadline. There is a way for everything, but i couldn't find my way to reach the $8.200 goal. I have to be realistic and accept that this is going to be very difficult now. After so many effort i don't want to dissapoint any of you. So, i'm changing plans. Unfortunately, Skip Barber Racing School is going to wait for me a little more. :)
I made contact with three racing schools in Brazil. I would still need a good ammount of money, but without the international traveling costs, my budget changes drastically. In the end i decided to go with an old goal i had. Go for a Veloce race. I have a history with this car, when i did my first test with a race car, back in 2011. Why this?
To have the chance to get back again on the seat of race car i'm going to have the opportunity to gain more experience and keep my skills sharp. The more i do, the more i can find new doors. And in motorsports, if you don't drive, you are out of the game. No one will call you if you only keep trying to drive. You have to go out there and show people from what you're made of.
If i change plans now, i still have two weeks to raise funds so i can fulfill this plan "b" objective. Time, as always in motorsports, is crucial. It's important to remember all of you that if i can't reach my goal, all the money will go back to my supporters. It's a risk free investment - i can only keep the money when i reach my goal.
This is the new budget: USD $1.000.
On Veloce i don't need to do an "school" to drive it. I already have one. But i need to practice. So this covers the money to practice and the money to race. I'm not adding the traveling expenses on this budget, that i'll deal myself. The only extra will be towards the production of the perks "Digital Art" and "T-shirt of the future", plus ClutchFunded costs. I'm also changing my perks here, but i didn't changed the ones that were choosen before.

Building a Racing Driver
"We can be anything we want."
Everything started 7 years ago, on my 22nd birthday.
I invited a few friends for a race with rental go karts. Until then, racing was something far, far away in my dreams and memories. It was a great day and i couldn't wait to do it again. It was just the spark i needed to awaken in myself everything that i had thought that it was impossible.
I had only 8 years old when my greatest hero died in a crash at Imola. I loved to pretend to be him, driving an invisible car. I would have to wait 10 more years to actually drive one for the first time ever, with my father. We got to go to a driving school together, doing the same classes and we got our first licenses at the same time. One year later i would lose him for a heart disease.
So when i got the chance to feel what it was like to actually do what i only had dreamed to be, i told myself that i would go for it. I would go for that little kid's dream.
It wasn't easy, because like many who also have this dream, we all got to face the major obstacle that money is in the sport. But when you truly love something, you keep going. And when i look back and see what i have achieved, i realize that i can go further.
I want to prove that anything can be done. Many didn't believed me at the start, but most of them started to see that i was serious about it when i got to drive a racecar in 2011, at Velopark. Velopark gave me that opportunity and i managed to drive their racecar, "Veloce". When i finished, their chief Mechanic told me that i "looked like a veteran driver" on the track. I never got to go back there. But i kept doing go kart races, going for championships and even got to be a test driver for a while.
Now i'm 29 years old. And as ClutchFunded is launched at december 15th, is also my birthday. It's funny to think that seven years ago, everything was starting and now here i am, looking to keep going for distance. Once, someone told me, that it doesn't matter what's your destination - what really matters is the journey.
By going to Skip Barber Racing School, i'm taking my career to a whole new level. This is the place were drivers can really become racing drivers. And i want to be there not only to keep on this journey, but to show that everyone can fly very high, if they set their minds to it.
This is what keeps me chasing my racing dreams:

When is this going to happen?
This campaign will be active until march 4th. This is a "All or nothing" so if we don't reach the goal, i won't receive any funds. You'll have your money back, guaranteed. Spread the word and let's do this together, let's prove that anything can be done!
When we achieve this goal, i'll be scheduling the everything with "Velopark", by May of 2015. Then, when i come back, i'll prepare all the perks and send them for you.
Why is this worth to help?
Every succedded racing driver received help and support from someone when they started their careers. Once they set their minds to follow their hearts and dreams, they started out by helping themselves, with strenght of will. But there is much more to deal with in this journey. Many of them found this support in their own families. I want to prove that we can truly be anything we want to, if we decide to be loyal to our feelings and face the challenges that will come. But more importantly: We can never give up. This is why i made this project - i'm not giving up. I will record by myself all i can of this experience and proudly show what we accomplished here with all of the funders. You will be part of this, and part of my future.
